Audit Committee
Chaired by the Board President, this committee shall audit the AAHV annual books.
Budget Committee
Chaired by the Treasurer, this committee (President, President-Elect, Conference Chair) drafts a budget for the upcoming year, to be presented to the Board of Directors for approval.
Bylaws Committee
Chaired by the Parliamentarian, this committee (selected by the Chair) shall review the Bylaws and Policies and Procedures annually.
Communications Committee
Chaired by the Communications Chair, this committee shall be responsible for communicating AAHV activities and information throughout the state in a regular newsletter, and for other written communications to AAHV member hospitals as necessary, including membership surveys. The Web master for the AAHV Web site will also be a member of this committee.
Community Outreach Committee
Community Outreach shall participate in the efforts of the AAHV Board to further educate the community about health issues that would have an effect on citizens across the state of Arizona. This committee shall also be responsible in recognizing volunteers and community leaders who have contributed extensive time and efforts to their healthcare facility or community.
Conference Committee
Chaired by the Conference Chair, the Conference Committee will plan and carry out arrangements for the Annual Conference, including venue selection, food arrangements, site room arrangements, registration, and program preparation.
Credentials Committee
Chaired by the Immediate Past President, this committee shall verify the credentials of voters from AAHV member hospitals for the Annual Business Meeting, and for any votes taken by mail.
Education Committee
Chaired by the President-Elect, this committee shall serve as the Program Committee for the Annual Conference. It also shall be involved in other educational programs throughout the state, as opportunities are created, and shall motivate and encourage member participations in such programs.
Executive Committee
Chaired by the Board President, this committee consists of the five (5) elected officers: President, President-Elect, Immediate Past President, Secretary, and Treasurer. The Executive Committee shall meet at the call of the President for any business deemed necessary that is properly within the jurisdiction of the Board.
Membership Committee
Chaired by the Membership Chair, this committee shall maintain accurate records of current AAHV membership; prepare, send, and receive annual membership forms; and lead the member recruiting activities of AAHV.
Nominating Committee
Chaired by the Immediate Past President, this committee shall prepare an annual slate of officers for the upcoming year.
